1) As I saw in the other review, the gasket that seals the door is also defective on my unit as well, it is torn and leaks, not only water, but detergant and bleach also

2) I live with my Mother and this machine is definatly not meant for an older person. Clothes and towels will continuely fall out if you don’t hold them in. You have to make sure the door is shut securley before the machine can start, my mother found this difficult to manage.

3) It is not good with delicate clothing. I had some shirts with lace lining around the collar and they tore due to the vigorous spinning.

4) You must be very careful not to leave change in your pockets. Not only will it fall in the washing machine, it will go in to the drain hose which will cause the washing machine not to drain properly and make it useless. The only way to get the change out is to unscrew 3 screws and take off the access panel and then unscrew a cap, which will cause a significant amount of water to spill out, then you pull out this little basket that is where the change will be.

5) Wash cycles take a long time, sometimes 20-30 minutes longer than given by the machine at the beginning of the cyle.

6) At the end of a wash when I go transfer the clothes or towels to the dryer, all the laundry is so spun together that I have to grab the entire load at one time because it is so difficult to pull the laundry apart, which is sometimes difficult if I did a large load of laundry.

7) I would not recommend this to anyone!
